The jury in the Michigan trial of Jennifer Crumbley, charged with involuntary manslaughter in her son’s fatal school shooting, watched a police video in which she said she never thought her son had “mental issues.” Prosecutors argue that Jennifer Crumbley and her husband should have done more to prevent the school shooting. I don't know the whole story, but just from this clip it looks like a witch hunt.
But just like the Sandy hook shooter, his mother knew he was mentally ill. Bought him an ar-15 AND NO SAFE that ONLY she had the key. She definitely was culpable there. Its the "my son would never do anything like that." attitude mothers are prone to.

I don’t believe we can people accountable for the actions of others. That’s a bridge too far for me. Where does it end? If a kid takes alcohol from his parents’ home, drives while intoxicated and crashes killing someone, are the parents responsible for that too??
