Why don't we build two border towns in all border states: one in the west and one in the east. The citizens and their families live in those towns to deal with the immigrants and to help transition those who are allowed to stay. Have a court system that focus on immigration issues and town life. Have public housings for the immigrants to stay until their hearing to stay or leave. All those towns have a communication and transportation system with each other. Make sure those towns have communal gardens and other green amenities to make it self-sufficient and affordable in the long run. I can keep going, but you can get the idea. Those border towns could ease the burden of the border states and organize the immigration issues. When word gets out that those towns are the best way to get sanctuary and legit access to the US, immigrants will focus to go there. Just an idea to help spark a solution.

Politics aside, Donald Trump's Administration had the best policy with Mexico at the border I have ever known of going back over 70 years. Biden ran against Trump on that and promised to destroy all of his programs. Very quickly, however, in the shade, Biden began to peddle back because it would take us backward in good relations with Mexico and dealing with illegal invasions. Now he is trying to crown jewel himself back to the previous admin's policy. Am I saying I am a blind follower of D.T.? No; that is not what I said. You are right; Latin Americans come freely except when the border is secure. There are pathways through California and other places conducting formal entry. I have always believed Mexico must be respected, as we work with finding a way for Latin migrants to stay on Latin American land and accept the benefits offered to them in the way of land, education and training, there. It is more than Americans receive; we are not given a house and land in order to access a better life.
