Everybody is already overextended and they live beyond their means. (Using a credit card is a real no no). Ask our grandparents or great grandparents about what was endured during World War II when the stakes were only slightly higher than today. Russia's aggression has caused a lot of this whole problem. I say everybody has to adopt the sentiment of our forefathers who fought for Democracy over Nazism. The FED should not be managing the economy. They are supposed to be managing the money supply. Their failure to do so in a prudent manner is what is causing inflation (as properly defined). It is too late for them to do anything that would address the stagflation they are bringing in the short term. Congress needs to address the FED's abuse of power and bring them back to what the mission should be.
