There's only one answer to mass shootings, and it is called constitutional carry. Survival is YOUR responsibility, not the government's nor the police department's. Violent incidents happen in mere seconds while it takes the police minutes to respond. The only way to properly defend yourself in a country that is about freedom and gun rights is to you yourself purchase and own a firearm, get training to be proficient with it, and defend you and your loved ones with it.
If you don't like it, don't appreciate the freedom, and can't handle the responsibilities of being a responsible and trained gun owner, feel free to get your passport in order and move your ass out of our country, or understand and accept that you are literally a walking victim, and nobody wants to hear about how you feel our rights to defend ourselves with a firearm should be infringed.
