This is a little east of where I'm at in Hualpen. Ashes cover our garden every morning and the moon and sun have been the same color red high up in the sky. I think I heard maybe 40 or more have died. It seems worse than the fires few years ago. Some fires were accidents, I heard one person was welding… and others apparently set intentionally. Chile can and will snap back like no other country can. Chileans are resilient.
Latino are wild with environment.
