Lake Mead near Las Vegas, Nevada, is at its lowest water level in more than 80 years allowing authorities to discover human remains, some of them in barrels with bullet holes in the head. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa reports how the recent discoveries are leaving many to wonder if the receding waters have unearthed decades-old mob hits.

Spilotro never would or did dispose any bodies in Lake Mead. Tony preferred to dig holes. Then he would throw the bodies in the holes. Throw in some dirt and then add plywood and dead animals on top of the plywood and then more dirt to throw off cadaver dogs.

I can’t help but to ask. I grew up in Detroit and watched the police scan my church’s foundation to see if his body might have been buried when they laid the foundation.
