25-year-old Carlee Russell mysteriously went missing in Alabama after police say she called 911 to report a toddler walking on the interstate. Russell is now home but many online are questioning the circumstances of her disappearance. NBC News’ Priscilla Thompson has more details.

You people get on my last nerve. Why would she leave her car on a open highway running just to make a story up for nothing? Something happened to her and her family member said she heard her scream. This story is quite bizarre, but I don’t think she’s making it all up.

So did this spoiled brat throw a tantrum cause she found something out or didn't get her way in something 🤔 Otherwise that's a very talented toddler to lure someone in the woods. I would assume most toddlers would be bawling and screaming their lungs out for their mommy. Or would've ran into traffic or would've gotten hit by another driver. From there, to that Inn, and then home doesn't and hasn't made any sense from the start. I'm curious was her Apple watch dead at that time? Most don't take them off cause some folks are show offs so why wasn't she wearing it? It would've tracked her down and she couldn't be found for some reason. I call B.S. BUT,if this really did happen then she should speak out cause bad things are happening to women every passing second that goes by. Always beware of your surroundings at all times ladies and you too gentlemen.
Nobody seems to ask these questions about where did she escape from how did she end up home how did they let her go and to let her walk away on foot and show up to her house these are all questions that should be answered

This whole conspiracy theory about her doing this to run off into the sunset with a 17 year old boy makes no sense. What 25 year old woman is checking for a 17 year old boy? Even if this holds truth why didn’t she 1) just break up with her boyfriend to deal with another guy 2) just deal with him without allegedly masterminding a kid napping or 3) even if she wanted to disappear to deal with this 17 year old then why didn’t she just disappear by just not coming home from work? Why did she involve the police and her sister-in-law?
She was missing! That’s the story. They used resources to find her and she came home. We don’t know why and we shouldn’t really care. We got what we prayed for. Everything else is irrelevant. The family is returning the money. Any money that is refused for return is going to crime stoppers. Blessings to the family. I’m glad she’s home and safe. The media sensationalized this. Police never said trafficking. This was a missing person’s case. We need to make sure every case gets this attention. Maybe we can stop trafficking and murders that do happen. I wouldn’t call it wasting people’s time. Anything with good intentions is time well spent. Could’ve been time God didn’t give them.
How much control can parents have over a 25 year old grown adult? She must’ve been using her parents for money, cars, and food.

If there are still kidnappers loose in the area the PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW! She's a 25 yr old adult. Even a 12 year old would be expected to give a description of their kidnappers.
They need to come out and talk because so many people prayed, gave money, and put work to look for their child. I understand trauma but she and her family need to say something.

I am going with schizophrenia. Normally starts in early adulthood. Causes hallucinations and confused thinking among other things. That would definitely be the reason the police stopped looking for the toddler and the family wants privacy.
