Charlotte the stingray has left many to wonder after becoming pregnant, as there are no male rays in her North Carolina aquarium. Wildlife biologist Forrest Gallante explains the mystery behind this pregnancy and how a shark could be the culprit.

I think the bite marks can't be ignored but frogs and salamanders change gender, usually from female to male, to accommodate reproduction. I wonder if the sting ray's age or overall health has anything to do with it. Or someone could have played a joke on everyone.
