  1. Please please let us keep our politics on earth

  2. Question is there fresh Air on Mars? Does Mars have trees if not than NASA should bring trees to Mars😳

  3. Makes no sense to heat up the enriched uranium to then make steam that is going to rotate some turbine. How are they going to cool off the uranium? Is not hydrogen a lot less cheaper and dangerous to produce instead?

  4. No EV rockets… very odd

  5. Don’t think aliens going to be cool with us sending nukes out to space

  6. This doesn’t even make sense. If the starship can make it to mars and back, what’s the point of this? And once you’re already at speed in space you have ZERO reason to be accelerating further, especially if you have any intent to stop. Perfect for something like voyager to power BATTERIES, not as an engine. More ways to siphon and waste taxes. Imagine having a perfectly good rocket, making it into space and heading towards mars, and only then firing a tiny nuclear engine that’s just gonna make the stop even harder, when you could do the same by just firing the main engine slightly longer with waaaay less cost, complexity, and weight. Seems dumb. Give technical details, you barely skimmed talking points.

  7. No way ! Danger ,danger , Will Robinson !!!

  8. Why not? Solar radiation will fry the passengers to a crisp anyway.

  9. 🤣🤣🤣🤣they think where gonna make it to 2040 the tribulation is coming soon get right with Jesus

  10. If it's so obvious that our nearly-useless cell phones are more advanced than the probes and orbital systems which NASA physicists need for life-critical research, then why aren't they receiving support and funding for new projects?

  11. This is interesting story.

  12. Voyager 2 is now 46 years old, still operatically using instruments detecting all forms of gases in interstellar space, outside of our space systems. Dish to communicate with 1of 3 base stations here. Why? Nuclear power. It can last a very long time but their time is near in few years away. it will be switched off. Go Nuclear!!!!

  13. "robot is not gonna cry because we ran out of money and we can't bring you back" brilliant

  14. I heard China is going nuclear too

  15. "As NASA looks to go to the moon one day" he said that.

  16. Stop faking it. Just show us the moon landing live like how you showed us in the 60s. Stop telling us that the tech has gone missing

  17. Take rayguns to deal with hostile aliens they'll find on Mars.

  18. Nuclear Fussion will likely be needed on large scale to travel interstellar. If we are to be interplanetary.

  19. NASA: We lost the technology to go to the Moon.
Also NASA: We are going to Mars.

  20. I am sure the universe can't wait to have us humans who have done such a great job taking care of each other here on earth 😂

  21. To Mars by 2040 is unnacceptable.

    2030 is more like it.

  22. Although you yanks wpuld be better letting we britosh take the lead, you need proper intelligent adults doing a mars trip not americans, however considering americans are cannonnfodder for we brotish people it is worth risking the lives of americans, for british safe travel up there

  23. You would think scientists would be more excited at going to mars lol

  24. 2040 is not soon. that is at least 17 years away.

  25. how do they do their duty up there?

  26. Putting nukes in space, what could possibly go wrong, its literally a way to make this proxy war a M.A.D. protocol. Straight mutually assured destruction.

  27. The human race originally from mars …. Remember I said it!!!!!!

  28. We already have Nuclear Submarines. A spaceship is just another nuclear powered, tube shaped vessel. Make it happen NASA!

  29. 🤠Hey, take Tump and his hillbillies with ya 🗽🎉🤭

  30. Russia and USA best chill

  31. We need china to land on the moon like a new Sputnik to get things into second gear.

  32. The US needs a no-holds-barred-around-the-clock-crash program to get astronauts to Mars-just like China.

  33. Check this out, it's plausible that we can make a spacecraft that can travel 400,000 miles per hour (643,000 km). At this speed it would take us over 7,000 years to reach just the nearest star!
But raving about aliens and ufos sells more books😂😂😂

  34. Im ready to go.
We have to stop the Chinese at all costs .

  35. I would go. I wouldn't want to come back. I would like to leave all 8 billion of you in the rearview and never see you again. It would be a great adventure even if it was a one way trip. I would want my dogs to come with me though if they could.

  36. Comparing nuclear rockets to an RTG on Voyager, apples to oranges.

Comparing the memory on Voyager to the memory in your cellphone, still apples to oranges. Bad reporting all around.

  37. Dear NASA: Just do it
    Dear Hippies: Hold back

  38. Build the enterprise and then use nuclear bombs to catapult the thing into space already

  39. What if the rocket explodes???
The nuclear waste will be in space. I'm sure it will come back to earth. People will get sick 🤢

  40. Nasa has to change the way it operates. It is to expensive to do anything at nasa. Do not let its vendors get easy money every time.

  41. NASA research centers and contractors are spread across the U.S. so that pork-barrel jobs are produced in as many Congressional districts as possible. In this way, the flow of money continues.

  42. I think it’s a one way trip unless they send two rockets.

  43. The American government calling another government secretive 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. American government is the one government in the world where not even 0.00000000001% of what they do is known.

  44. Instead of fission, using cold fusion maybe?

  45. Can not believe we miss out on so much paying for this. How cutious ones mind can be.

  46. Please go to mars…….
