We need water!
I remember growing up without running water and electricity!
I remember hauling water as a child. I think the federal government has taken enough time to think it over.
A Navajo woman told me her mother, and grandmother lived on the Reservation in a tiny cabin, about the size of someone's bedroom, with a big wood stove, no water. She told me that when the US calvary was slaughtering all the Navajo they could find, her people were up on the Messa, where her mother, and grandmother live today.

I have an idea. Biden Administration instead of sending "BILLIONS" of dollars to corrupt foreign countries like (Ukraine) take care of the Native Americans who are Americans. The money the Government is wasting on Foreign Countries, frivolous law suits and ridiculous special committee's on investigations that don't go anywhere. Every single family and home on the Navajo Nation could have its own water well or water storage tank. This is ridiculous that the Government is allowing this to happen to one of the poorest Native American community in the world.
We have water in most places, sad to say but were also corrupted. When the government gives out things, someone in charge who doesn't know how to do their job just gives it to the already haves not to the have not's. People that need help only find out after a free program had ended or is already full most of the time it's for people who don't live on the reservation. A favorite Navajo saying in a government position is the word "no." Just sucks that we have four casinos built before having water programs in place.
I wonder if Biden will ignore this problem as well.

I am certain that it would take far less money to provide the water for the people than they spend in un necessary wars in other nations.
But if there were to find minerals there then I am sure they would try everything possible to take this land away from the navajo tribe

That was a useless video. Gives no background on the story, doesn't say what the lower courts have ruled, no interviews or quotes from tribal leaders on the issue.
It's a human right to have access to clean water how is it possible we ship millions of cases of water to foreign nations and do not honor the original people of the United States. This is disgusting that it's even a question.

The US forced the Navajos and Hopis onto desolate land that no one wanted. I grew up near those reservations. It's awful and third-world like. I taught Navajos and Hopis in college who are leaving the reservation because they want running water. It is sick to think they've gone so many decades without decent living conditions because we forced them there and did not honor the treaties we forced on them. Please SC, rule in their favor. They need running water at least.

You can't really expect a tap for water on top of a mountain and maybe not in the middle of the desert. It might be possible and there might be a tap, but i think it's not very reasonable to expect there to be one.
