I was in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. At the base I was at in 1966 a married Airmen got a successful discharge on the grounds he couldn’t live with a family on the $400 per month pay he received. He was successfully discharged, although he may have had to serve the balance of his enlistment in the Air National Guard. A year later at a radar site I was stationed at an Airman was successfully discharged because he was a sleepwalker.
I doubt any of this would have been a reason for discharge from the Army at that time.
Who wants to work for a POTUS that doesn't even know what a Navy is ??
This generation is sooo week! Listen use the time on the ship to 1.work do your job well! 2.work out stay fit!
3.read and study at down time on things you don't know like investing money. Or how the ship your on actually works.
4. Save evey penny possible for two years!
5.sight see every country you aloud off the ship! Enjoy getting to see countries most Americans will never see!
6.last one and ill shut up show some appreciation for your opportunity!

I feel that a mandatory 2 years of service would be good for all our young adults. After those two years, they can decide to enlist for a longer period of time or pursue a career that they've finally grown up enough to figure out that they want. I understand that the military can be grueling, not what you expected and hard work. I see too many young adults languishing with no drive, direction or sense of teamwork.
I am the LORD Jesus Christ in tHis second coming. I am coming to rescue the Navy ⚓. We must form the North American UNION and disband NATO.
