It’s fall and bears are trying to fatten up for winter hibernation. Didn’t know Connecticut had bears?
Good job dude. You saved a boys life. He was going to be lunch
Talk about a good neighbor….
Which part of Connecticut
What a scary situation, So glad the lil fella will be ok,…. My gosh certainly could hv bn much worse.
Where in Connecticut?
they could've relocated the bear instead of killing it
It would also be helpful if local Connecticut news stations stopped showing "cute" videos of bears swimming in people's pools, etc. I've encountered several bears who have clearly lost their fear of humans. And this is not the first attack on a person (and dogs) here in Connecticut.
Dear NBC News and YouTube Comments Public:
OPINION: Bear and Dog Attacks are on the rise globally, and I believe it's all the same pandemic that is causing it.
I believe the reason why bear attacks and dog attacks are both happening in record numbers globally during 2022 is because of the pandemic. If we were to regard Coronavirus and Lyssavirus as symbiotic viruses within their natural host being bats, the Coronavirus being basically a bloodstream virus that quickly penetrates the blood-brain barrier to exit out the nose and mouth, the Lyssavirus being basically a nervous system virus that slowly penetrates the blood-brain barrier to exit out the nose and mouth, that the requiring modification of the infected host brain is the core issue to discuss.
As we all know, the Long COVID effects of brain fog and loss of smell and taste in humans is often temporary but not always, versus the recurring infection as the virus rapidly variates to defeat antibodies thereby taxing the immune system of its defensive capabilities. Research hasn't been done very easily on how animals are affected because we have basically no way of measuring their degrees of cognitive impairment, but in domestic animals and zoo animals we have inferred much. Contrary to that, the effects of Lyssavirus are very well research on animals because it's one of the scariest viruses that mother nature has in her arsenal, causing aggression and confusion and hydrophobia.
This is where a lightbulb moment should click-in to scientists, because those of the human populations which are anti-vaccine are thereby the least protected ergo the most infected and recurring infected, the level of chronic cognitive impairment must inevitably sustain its expressions, which from the human perspective looks like little more than party politics and voter stupidity. One of these expressions in particular is mask-lessness and the need to close social distancing & travel restrictions, all are such things which procures face-to-face proximity akin to aggression and hydrophobia. Whether it be in a bat colony in China, a herd of deer in Sri Lanka, a pack of dogs in India, backyard bears in America, or protestors in Capitols or Parliaments, the animal nature of a confused and aggressive host who is infected at the nose and mouth seeks to obey the virus in its promulgation of symbiotic transmission.
I believe this is why in Sri Lanka and India the potency of the Rabies Lyssavirus vaccine has expired in dogs and humans, as the immune system from unvaccinated never-ending Coronavirus infections is so taxing that a weakened antibody response has trained the Rabies Lyssavirus to evade immunity, to eventually borrow short-distance face-to-face airborne transmission from its symbiotic ally, hence whole herds of Coronavirus-reservoir deer can be wiped out without so much as a publicly proven rabies bite mark!!! In America and much elsewhere of the world, we're watching "healthy" bears and dogs attack people to death in record number cases unseen before, as foxes, raccoons and bats with rabies are in surge requiring massive airdrop edible vaccine campaigns. In my opinion, there's basically no cognitive difference between a predatory bear attack and a territorial dog pack attack on humans, having the same nature of cognitive impairment as a partisan protestor who rips off masks and roars up nonsense, perhaps even some off-the-chain arrests by law enforcement, the Coronavirus has prepared the Lyssavirus to receive its hosts.
I strongly predict that we are a mere handful of months away from a "Coronavirus + Lyssavirus" pandemic, as once again this Fall of 2022 is showing that all Coronavirus vaccines are evaded by new Coronavirus variants in varying degrees, even if the symptomatic coughing and sneezing is suppressed, the exhalation vapor still carries the airborne microparticles which inevitably sneaks its way past the blood-brain barrier to cause further cognitive degradation, undetected like a frog sitting in a pot of slowly boiling water. Eventually, a confused and hyper-social human population is going to outbreak with a Lyssavirus that won't be diagnosed as such by a doctor who isn't looking for it, maybe not even be capable of comprehending it, and then for all intents and purposes we'll have a genuine Zombie Outbreak on our hands, no joke!
It's no surprise that right now in Fall of 2022 that there's a Bear Problem the likes of which we haven't seen before in western society, and that's because as boars fight for sows they're roaring at and biting each other with their latest Coronavirus variants driving-up a level of aggression unseen before in their species, and then they're going to hibernate as the virus cognitively damages them further in their sleep. Sleeping with them in some dens will be bats, with or without Lyssavirus, with or without Rabies Lyssavirus, and then come spring we're going to probably see a "Zombie Bear" going nuts in some random American or Canadian or other nation's town, and "the experts" are going to feign absolute ignorance as to how or why, probably blaming it on a raccoon.
Those same bats in Spring 2023, they're going to fly-out everywhere, and they'll bite what they'll bite, as most wildlife will have a random level of Coronavirus infection exhaustion, and so we're likely to see whole populations of herbivores and omnivores and carnivores throughout the animal kingdom proceeding to wild animal attacks across much of humanity. We're going to have to genetically reset the animal kingdom after this because this will basically be the "Mammal Extinction Event"? The planet needs a sufficiently educated human survivor population to access the frozen DNA samples we've got stored in various places and be able to use them, which is why governments right now need to prepare vaccine companies to make human-grade edible rabies vaccines like they're already doing for raccoons in America at the moment. It needs to be a globally distributed sugar cookie, itself super-easy to manufacture and distribute.
Any delay of this is conspiracy of willful ignorance by government. I've already brought this issue up with the Canadian Federal Minister of Health and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
– Daniel Nicolas Martin, Windsor Ontario Canada, October 18 of 2022.
Hero
Thank goodness that man was there, and ran toward the danger. We can't seem to convince people to not feed the wildlife. You rarely hear of an attack like this, but with less natural food, and less wild acreage these encounters will only increase.
You all are heroes, good job!!
At age 10 a bear crushed in the tent my sister and I were in and had his foot on my sisters head…we counted quietly to 3 and then screamed, "DAD" at the top of our lungs and it scared that bear so badly it jumped into the air and went crashing off through the forest. I can't imagine how that kid felt or his WC bound grandparent felt until the hero arrived on scene to show that bear who the apex predator is round here!
Feel very sad for both of them 😿
Thank you for your bravery. Thank all things good this baby is alive. You deserve a thank you fund.
Don't feed wild animals you morons.
Thank God that guy was there! You can see he's still shaking from it all, but God bless him for helping to rescue that boy and his grandfather from a bear attack.
Why does the D.E.E.P. have firearms?
We need to wipe out those dangerous animals
10 yr old. Caretaker in a wheelchair.
Even the bear could see this family was vulnerable.
There are bears in the neighborhood. Somebody has to think ahead.
