Sweden and Switzerland, countries with a long history of neutrality, are teaming up with much of Europe in uniting with Ukraine to help with its defense against Russia. NBC News’ Alex Seitz-Wald reports on why this European unity is so significant.

Sweden sent the Ukrainians 5000 AT4:s (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT4), 5000 flak vests, and more than 100 000 field rations – a small part of our own defense against Russian aggression.

You know it's a bad situation when even Sweden and Switzerland break their neutrality.
As there were talks about outsourcing the Afghanistan war during Trump, say to Blackwater or some other bidders, would it sound that silly for NATO to award the biz of “no fly zone over Ukraine” to a non NATO country such as Switzerland or South Africa?

It is very difficult to overcome a dedicated “guerrilla“ army that is armed (later trained) and well supplied. If the Ukrainian people could last long enough to shame the world … Putin could fail and fall. He’s invincible (in his mind) and paranoid at the same time. Putin trusts no one. He’s had so many people killed in creative ways that he knows keeping his distance is one way to help keep him safer. He’s afraid of Covid-19 and it’s variants. All of the revenue streams that assist Russia to wage war should be cut off, including crypto currency.
This’ll end faster if they go after Putins and the oligarchs personal money. There are multiple billions in Euros, Pounds and dollars. The oligarchs may band together to rid themselves of this mad man if he costs them enough!

That's strange, doesn't neutral mean that you don't stand with any nation during wartime? Kind of contradictory
For context, Switzerland signed the Treaty of Paris in 1815, which is the document that keeps them neutral. They have broken that in 2022. So after 207 years, they have decided that this conflict is important enough to get involved. I know there have been many historical events within the past three years, but this is one I'm glad to see in my lifetime.
