That’s a whole year assuming you’re working at it full time.) and finally the hiring and vetting processes of the Commonwealth of the State of Massachusetts?? Maybe, she feels like she's that age inside due to something that hurt her, & being surrounded by others her "same age" helps her feel supported. But she shouldn't be in the schools due to her instability & deception. She should just go back to college as a freshman with a new major & fib about her age. Hopefully, she gets the help she needs to feel ok.

This sounds like a case of trans-age phobia. If she identifies as a teenager that is her right, after all age is a broad spectrum and a person should be able to identify as what ever age they feel they are.
