I believe builders who are using cranes should have several people on the ground whose job it is…..to just watch the crane during construction…!!
There job description should be to alert residents and pedestrian’s if the crane is falling because a lot of people aren’t looking up to see if a crane is falling…
They should have an alert system….
That crane company should be banned in NYC forever
I'm glad no one was killed and praying for the injured for a good recovery. 🙏
Karma..nuke new York deep state 😂
All the debt that city has and it's done nothing to fix it. Its just gone to the rich.
All said, only two crane accidents in 15 years is still a pretty damn good safety record…
Did they let dei hires put it up???
I can’t help but think this was caused by affirmative action.
Hydraulic fluid does not spark flames.
Look at that, another example of steel weakening and collapsing when it's both under strain and heated by fire. I wonder how the 9/11 conspiracy people are going to spin this one?
Another" blacktivist" mayor making another dumb comment!😖😖
First of all, Bronx "hes the loudest" Second of all, Queens. From what ive heard, loudest spoken of.
Oh no. What country is gonna be blamed and invaded for this? Tough one.
POR FAVOR DETENGAN ESTE GENOCIDIO EN ESPAÑA.
Where AI is needed more than just replacing artists & stupid truck drivers
the city needs to require certificates of maintenance for these cranes that are not older than a month before granting them permits.
it sure look like two people died…..being thrown from crane.
American archaic infrastructure. China are the world's leaders in infrastructure and fast speed rail so maybe blame them for the US being backward. Maybe blame the Japanese for having bullet trains way back in 1964 when The Beatles released their first record album. Last year there were radioactive water leaks in Minnesota and now Philadelphia and Louisiana. Where is Biden's infrastructure funding? Surely DeSantis hasn't used up all the infrastructure funds to send migrants from another state to another state like he did with Florida's Covid funding. In 2022, there were more than 1,000 train derailments in the US.
One of the crane collapses a few years back was due to the operator not retracting the arm before lowering the crane, causing the weight imbalance that led to toppling.
This time, they need to find out the cause of fire.
This the type of situation that you'd need Spider-Man for
