The sad thing is not one of this kids had to die if only the school board had taken precautions . We don't need to arm teachers or fortify our schools we need to just keep an eye open . That shooter should've been spotted and stopped before ever getting to the school. The problem has never been guns its all been the people who we elect . These school shooting will continue because all they what is to argue over guns and the schools will remain unprotected.
Yeah and people constantly judge and question why I would possibly want to homeschool our kiddos. Our oldest turns 5 in august and is eligible for kindergarten this year or next. I am not willing to send my kids into a war zone. My heart BREAKS for the families and for our country as a whole. All of those sweet babies taken. It’s devastating and the law enforcement should be ashamed. Honestly though this could happen in any setting. I constantly question every thing we do. I sent my oldest to VBS at the local baptist church last week. Is it safe? Will he be ok? What if someone goes in there? I take them with me to the gym. Is it safe? Will they be ok? What if someone goes in there? The world we live in is a scary place.
So so true they want the TRUTH!!!!!!

What if one of those 12 officers standing in the hallway, had a child in that classroom? What if Arredondo or the mayor had a child in that classroom? Would they have saved the children’s lives?

Seems to me like defunding the police wasn’t so dumb after all of were paying them to do nothing in a crisis.

If the constant misinterpretation of the second amendment wouldn't have made it possible for this kid to buy assault weapons and a ton of ammunition, this whole discussion would never have been necessary.
Look at the real cause of the tragedy: the kid was armed more heavily than any soldier at the frontline. And now you're focusing on the police hesitating to confront this heavily armed kid?
Stop selling guns to anyone, and you'll have a good start on stopping this insanity in the US, that is killing people at a higher rate than anything else.
Look at how we do it in Europe: less inequality (thanks to socialism), thus less criminality, combined with strict gun laws, makes that people feel safe enough without guns, and nobody ever bothers ever looking to buy one.
It can be done, the US can be made safer, but not by selling more guns, but by stop selling them. And if you really want to solve the massive problem, seize them all.
Well those judges from the FASCIST Conservative Supreme Court just made it easy for these kinds of incidents to not happen again because they gave people more guns!!!!! This court just keeps getting better.

They are scared it is the law enforcement and whole 91 officers on sight. They make a decision that those kid were collateral damage so the the offices could go back to thier kids and family and enjoy the memorial day weekend. This the biggest law enforcement failure in the history of failure. Defend the law enforcement until they get there act together.the oath they took is not just word but an action that is expected of them even if they loose their life in the line of duty.

Then why are they blocking FIFA request? Why on day 2 spokesman reporting and correcting false information previous reported. Then divulge that Uvalde police and also a sheriff deputy entered the school and killed the suspect also upon arrival of tactical units and Boarder patrol these units breached the school and located and killed the suspect, nearly an hour since the incident clock started. Where does a unemployed child get the funds to purchase the weapons and accessories to invade a small country. Also of course the doors were not locked since the shooter entered. Since when are windows bullet proof. The chief said "we lost 2 kids" " if we start shooting we are going to lose more kids" " we're going to have to put them to the side right now"
This is a “ system failure “ from the top down because this was a prime example of how the “ head of the country “, Biden has 0% care, concern or compassion for his country or the citizens of his country. This was just like January the 6th. A deterrent to ignore WHAT is really happening,…… and putting the blame on SOMEBODY else. The police dept will be branded as cowards for the rest of their lives.I would’ve gone in there with my bare hands if my child was in there and nobody would be able to stop me.Those cops had all the hardware and still they dropped nuts.Absolute disgrace to the police department and they will have to wear that till the day they die.
