I wonder what evidence they have to suggest she was murdered. Are we talking just circumstantial evidence that the child was never handed over to her mother or something more specific like evidence of a body or a weapon?
Heartbreaking. The mom raised the alarm with both the cops and DCS when she got out of rehab, but because she no longer had custody, she was ignored. Everyone blaming her for not reporting her child missing for two years is grossly misinformed. She tried – this was an utter failure by the police and DCS. But let’s put the blame on who it belongs: the person who caused Harmony’s death. This is truly tragic.
I think the mother needs to be given the chance to speak long enough to come out with her whole side of the story. She clearly feels very irresponsible, and felt very irresponsible even before harmony's dissappearance, and was hopeful that she was just imagining things assuming that harmony was probably ok but up to things with people she shouldn't be. I think if she is given the opportunity to really speak her experience, she will provide very helpful insight to the struggle that a very significant population is enduring presently. Most people may not be ready and able to present themselves with all of their flaws like she will, and beyond this one murder, it might mean improvements and prevention for many others. (our mortality statistics in the US are not flattering)

The mother lost custody of her originally,she was using drugs to,and wasnt taking care of her.she was placed in mass.foster care system.they were the ones who gave her to her dad.
The mom seems to have cleaned herself up,but it took 2 years for her to lodge missing persons,or state didnt listen to her.
She went to see her girl on visit and father had excuses,that i guess the mom believed
