The lawyers for the “Rust” actor and producer called out several crew members, including the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, and first assistant Director Dave Halls, who previously denied responsibility, alleging they are responsible for the deadly shooting on set. The court document acknowledged Baldwin was holding the gun but that the live ammunition was delivered and loaded into the gun. Gutierrez-Reed’s attorney claimed Baldwin was solely responsible for the tragedy.

yea alec has never been at fault anyone with any sense could see that … for those people who know vwry little about guns and how their used in different situations blaming an actor for accidebtally shooting someone is insane …. it was never his job to check any gun anytime for any reason . they hire professionals for that. he is being used as a scapegoat to avoid answering the actually hard questions of how this was allowed to happen. . the fact that they used real gubs on stage in litterally the dumbest thing ever … i blame whomevwr decided that wws a good idea

comments here defending baldwin fail to accept he was in charge as a producer, he hired the crew, concerns had been expressed about safety a few times, some of the crew had walked of because of safety concerns, the person handing him the gun had been involved in a situation on another film, he was holding the gun and failed all industry standard safety precautions, pulled the trigger (fbi report) and killed someone, and from the very beginning has been trying to blame anyone but himself. He knew exactly what he had done – pictures show he was outside on his phone rather than inside trying to help in any way that might have been possible – he didn't even call the emergency services, others had to do that – THE GOLDEN RULE IS NEVER, EVER, POINT A WEAPON AT SOMEONE………
Baldwin was at fault . the dude is a murderer. If ya know ANYTHING AT ALL about guns, gun safety is always an issue. Baldwin has handled guns in dozens of films, he knew wtf he was doing, the gun worked like it should. Bottom line, he is responsible. Think poeple, he is not a virgin on gun sets and firearm safety. Justice to the family.

Once you are handed, handling a gun, rifle, etc, It's your responsibility checking if it's loaded and if there's one in the chamber. It seems most of you are participation trophy snowflake mentality ❄️

Meh, I kind of agree with his legal team. The emotions were high and people used that to push the perspective on Alec that he was some careless monster without giving much reason as to why. We all know that the preparation of the props, in which Alec was not in charge of, was much more contributing to this tragedy than Alec simply holding it which he was supposed to anyway. Focus on the facts, not the emotion, something that should be standardized for all juries.
Whoever loaded the gun is negligent. Alec would expect the gun to be safe!!! Period!!!
