Since ammo comes in boxes of 50, 100, 200, 500 or 1000 rounds for most small arms ammunition 1400 isn't a lot.

How sad is it that my reaction to this was “which mass shooting was this one, again?”
I have 14 ar rifles in different calibers and 12 ar pistols in different calibers and 9 hand guns. I have a rule of a minimum of 1000 rounds for each rifle and 500 for each hand gun. I also mold my own bullets and hand load my own ammunition. I build my own guns and haven't done any background checks in 20 years. Gun control is a useless joke at best. I have already taught my 14 year old son the trade and he has quite the arsenal too.
