NO ONE has said what he was doing with money. You can't smoke, sniff or inject a 10's of millions of dollars and still stay full functional lawyer. And they both had family money to fall back on too. Who did he owe that much money to that he was willing to kill the house keeper and his wife and son.

Alex Murdaugh ("AM") did not steal anything from Gloria Satterfield's sons. Gloria had diabetic neuropathy, was on medication for hypertension and other things, and got dizzy and fell on the stairs outside the Murdaugh home. There is no insurance liability under those circumstances and Gloria's sons had no expectation of any, rightful or otherwise, until AM invented the dogs story.
It is not known whether Gloria's sons themselves knew the dog story to be false and went along with it BUT it is now clear that THEIR NEW LAWYERS, Bland and Richter now know the dogs story to be false but insists against evidence that it is true to keep the double recovery they has got.
Yes, AM cheated; but he cheated insurance companies, not Gloria's sons. Now, Bland and Richter want to double the proceeds of that cheating scam and keep everything themselves.
I admit I do not know the details of the other cases; but the TRUE details of the Satterfield case and of the Stephen Smith case which are coming out prove that AM's current accusers are wolves in sheep's skins.
I am NOT defending AM, only pointing out the hypocrisy of others.
