This bill is only a "feel Good" Bill. It will not stop these shootings. The jist of this new law, No NY citizen should be aloud to be protected if threatened by deadly force. They must wait with the criminal, patiently, for the police to arrive and handle the situation.
Let me get this straight. An 18 year old can be given an m4/m16 assault rifle with full auto capabilities if they join the military, but not a plain Jane semiautomatic ar15 when they turn 18? Sounds like the military wants you to fight your own country men.
