The New York grand jury investigating former President Trump for alleged hush money payments is not expected to vote on an indictment this week, according to three sources familiar with the matter. NBC’s Ron Allen has details.

Using Michael Cohen, a person convicted for lying in a previous case, as a witness in this case without presenting evidence of his previous misleading statements, is an abhorrent tactic, not to mention unethical behavior for a trial lawyer, and may lead to action by the State Bar. Leaving out exculpatory information, and evidence, in a legal case is referred to as "hiding the ball", frowned upon by the legal profession. It's apparent that Michael Costello's testimony created a situation that may be difficult, if not impossible, to overcome.
