Those stretch limos are inherently unsafe. I don’t think they should be allowed on the roads at all. There was a horrible incident with one in California in 2013 which killed five passengers. They are death traps. They are made by cutting up a perfectly good vehicle to make them three times as long, and far heavier, with inadequate braking capability. They are built by amateurs, who are only interested in the most seats at lowest cost, and they seem to skirt vehicle safety regulations. There is no need for them. There are limos built on regular truck chassis which do not require modification of the frame and which can provide for emergemcy egress such as exists on any properly designed bus. It is time to get these things off the road.

To everyone confused, he wasn't the driver, the driver died as well. He's the operator of the limo company and refused to fix the limo which had problems and was not safe to be on the road.

I highly recommend NY reporters investigate NY limousine service. In 2002 they were a money laundering front for human trafficking.
They pick up young girls from Europe and all over, scout out young, fresh prospects in boutique hotels with a tip man that works in the hotel to vouch for them that they are “safe” when in fact, they are not.
