A Florida firefighter and his wife adopted a newborn after he found the baby girl in the state’s Safe Haven Baby Box while working an overnight shift. He and his wife decided to adopt the baby because they had been trying for more than a decade to conceive a child. NBC News’ Joe Fryer reports.

I also recently saw a video of a lady calling a different lady at like 2 AM to tell her that a baby was dropped off in the box that she had donated the money to build. it was like 10 or 15 grand she had donated. I wonder if it was the same baby.

They were always meant to be her parents. There is no doubt about that. He was always meant to be a firefighter so he could find her and be her father. Life always comes full circle and it is beautiful the way it works out for some people. ❤

Although I didn’t find a baby. I scooped up a little six month stray poodle mix from a busy street. The moment he ran to me and picked him in my arms. I was madly in love. He is the love of my life now. What a beautiful little baby girl she is ❤ And a testament to the power of answered prayers.
