Rebecca Grossman's attorneys have a strategy, and that includes getting her upcoming sentence drastically reduced by the Governor. It won't happen right away, they need to maintain some semblance of propriety and let other news take the headlines. But rest assured, back-channel negotiations are already underway. What Newsom will do in three to four years is commute her sentence. She and her estranged husband donated generously to his political campaigns – done through a shell organizations. The Grossman’s will cash in their chip. That's how these people work. Newsom having a luxurious dinner at a $900 per plate in Yountville during the pandemic? That's nothing. They have power, and money drives that power. And by the way, that dinner at the French Laundry was charged on the state credit card.
A petition to recall Newsom again was just filed today. Quite frankly Newsom needs to deal with the issues plaguing California(homelessness, crime, exodus of middle class folks to other states) not doing publicity stunts in Beijing, Tel Aviv, or DC.
NO ONE wants him to be president! He destroyed the most beautiful state in America. Barf. Get him out of here.
