It's hilarious watching Larry talk. He's face is contorted in pain as his brain tries to manage this massive mental struggle of on the one hand knowing that a good journalist sticks to evidence and facts, while on the other hand trotting out the most unbelievable garbage to run interference for Trump and the Republican party. Newt the nut is absolutely fine with Trump trying to overturn US democracy with a coup attempt, to try to change votes, to organise fake electors, to have his kids get 2 billion dollars from the Saudi's, to grift the working class, to defraud charities, to defraud students, etc . The Democrats held no inquiries prior to launching two completely frivolous impeachments of President Trump . So why should the Republicans ? Especially since all the evidence against Joe Biden has been well known and publicized by the alternative media for at least 3+ years now.
