For the first time ever, the NFL is airing a playoff game exclusively on streaming services. NBCUniversal is reportedly paying $110 million to put the playoff game on Peacock in hopes to gain more subscribers.

Disney+ will buy the Superbowl and make you watch it in Disney/hulu. Then everyone will cancel it… But they made the money for the year in one night. Great job radio shack. I think Roger Goddell should be on the hot seat!!!! I drove around for the Miami game in Tampa area… No one had it. 2 had with no sound. "sports bars" 3 others didn't carry it and said wont. I went home. Each tv has to have subscription so peacock on 1 of 30 tvs… No sound…Great

The booing at the 2024 NFL draft will probably be louder and last much longer than ever before. The fans can control a lot, they just need to get it together, but they haven't up to this point because for too many of them this is their life. All my teams I've followed since I'm a kid, but this crosses a line that it shouldn't.

My wife has Peacock for some reason…which means that I'm paying for it. I still didn't watch it. I'm going to make a point of canceling ALL of this streaming bs. The NFL will go the way of boxing. When I was a kid, boxing was a universal spectator sport. Today, because of premium cable and PPV venues, most people don't have a clue who is the heavyweight champion of the world at any given moment, forget about any of the other weight classes.

I'm not normally a "fan" of conspiracy theories; however, Taylor Swift's "relationship" with Travis Kelce now makes sense! It hit me when I saw the clip of her arriving at the game yesterday looking like the most popular girl in high school wearing the most popular football player's jacket (except they're both in their 30s, making it even more pathetic).
The NFL and NBC concocted this Swift/Kelce relationship idea shortly after their 110 million dollar playoff game deal, hoping Swifties would sign up for Peacock so they wouldn't miss the 30-year-old teenager rooting for her 30-year-old teenager boyfriend. BOOM!

This may be a mistake. 85% of the people surveyed have streaming services. What that means is 85% of the people that answered their phone or their computer have streaming services. That doesn't mean that 85% of the population of America has streaming services. Most of America has grievances. We're going to miss the game. Football's going to lose money.
