When have you ever seen a job fair recruiting hockey players. That is what Scouts are for.
As Hockey is prominently a white man's sport, those who have never considered employment in the NHL organization, this was there attempt to diversify their workforce.
Any white kid who strapped on a jock strap has already sent their resumes for employment within the organization.
