Easy to to "pay back your obligation" Mitch when college was like $500 when you went, if you went back in the stone age. College shouldn't cost this much anyway. However, for many people, black people especially, college is most times the ONLY way to get somewhat of a leg up in this country. NO ONE in a position of power or hiring authority is going to look at someone like me and say, oh she reminds me of me of (someone in my family) and hire me with no interview (this is a whole other issue). Let's not talk about how even with a college degree black people are paid LESS than their white counterparts with nowhere near that level of education and/or experience. I could go on.. anyway, forgive the loans.
