My take with this is that this entire situation could have been prevented in the first place.
It was reported that the 6 year old claimed they had a gun. Admin searched their belongings but didn’t find anything so they let the boy return to class.
Then the crapshoot happened. In my view, this should be on the admins. If a kid claimed they had a gun or even hinted they did/made threats, they should be removed from school or sent home.

the problem with adults is not comprehending that kids this age are FAR more conscious then they realize. these kids are grown up significantly different then their own parents. open your eyes and hold these kids accountable, their smart enough to know you wont and that's the problem.

cant form the required criminal intent but the kid was able to retrieve and sucessfully smuggle a firearm out of his parents house then into a the vehicle transported him to the school (parents vehicle or school bus) then into a school building and eventually a classroom
where he then sucessfully shot a school teacher doing those things sucessfully not only shows that he was able to cimprehend right and wrong it shows that he did infact intend to commit and that is criminal intent
the childs parents should be charged with crimes as well

in England, the motherland of our Justice system, prior to the last 50 years they would of hanged this kid. They hanged children for lesser offenses. This entire thing is hilarious. there will not be any charges in this case. the little thug is too young and the prosecutors already indicated that the worst crime they could charge the parent(s) with is a misdemeanor. I also tend to hypothesize that the thug is a Black kid so, as a protected minority, not only will there be no charges but the case will soon be swept under the media rug. The only hope to see some justice and to get a look at who we are dealing with as far as these crappy parent(s) are concerned, is a civil suit filed by the teacher against them. But I know she has already filed against the school board so she my forgo going after the parent(s).
