After 35 years, the Nordstrom in downtown San Francisco has officially closed. The store is the latest in a series of retail closures in the city. NBC News’ Jake Ward has the details.

The dog piling of media outlets dunking on San Francisco doesn’t help us one bit. As a resident, there are plenty of nice places, it’s mostly the tenderloin that has a large amount of homeless. And there’s something to say about a self-fulfilling prophecy if businesses truly believe it’s every other factor besides the company. Nordstrom closed their outlet, well so did thousands of stores in the wake of the pandemic. Move on.
"I hope someone comes to clean up the city." Or we can help each other out rather than be selfish, but that is our American Society ethos, "me, me, me."
I can get a dozen shirts from Goodwill for the price of one from Nordstrom. People who pay full price for polo's are nuts.

Phila.'s downtown( aka Center City) has always been residential. So it didn't suffer so much during the pandemic like other downtowns.

Was an artist in the Cass Corridor in Midtown Detroit. We sacrificed everything to revitalized the city for over 20 years but all the artists got priced out by yuppie scum.
