Resembles a gold coin and beads that are tied in a Thali . It's a wedding custom of the Tamils in India!
I had a few metal detectors
Never found gold but it paid itself off in coins.
It's not for those into money but a fun hobby.
If I were to find a treasure out there such as this one, I’m not telling a soul lol
Grandma said you can borrow it but she wants it back
I understood every word after I took the speed reading course
Terrible report
Hope he was compensated well
And my friend buys lottery tickets every day instead of one of these. I just shake my head.
I would’ve just worn it to work the next day
Whats the images depicting on the pendant they showed? Looks wild.
So did he get any money for it, seems like in most of these countries gold buried in the ground automatically belongs to the government. Which is a shame because ancient gold pieces and stuff go for alot, and I suspect some that is found as a result of these laws is just melted down and sold for its current price by weight.
Lots of civilisations before us , indeed … Nowadays , most humans are spoiling and destroying their own environment and the biodiversity , for good , for real .. Bravo .
How much was it worth?
Let me guess, the government confiscated it all, and didnt even buy him a coffee
That’s my great great great great great great great great great great great grandpa’s property and I want it back!
Well, you Dummy…!!! You let the whole world know, Dummy..!!… Git ready to lose it all with the Gubment claiming it as theirs, Dummy…!!!😮😮😮
Ima git me a tector!!!
It looks Celtic, the depictions are like that of a celtic stater not so much Viking
Should have taken it to Sotheby’s as “family heirloom” and sold it for millions
When it's meant to be . . .
How incredibly wonderful!

Let me guess. He found it in Europe. The land that claims all treasures and gives you a pat on the back… lucky sure. That all he got was luck.
Been reading many stories lately about people just buying metal detectors and then shortly after they are going somewhere and stop to relieve themselves.
Lo and behold while they are stopped they decide to try out the metal detector and find a huge hoard of gold, silver and priceless artifacts.
On several occasions it turns out that they have been raiding places at night finding things but not reporting them as required.
After a few years and enough treasure they report their find from the side of the road, and don't have to split it with the owners of property they found it on.
Not saying that's what happened here, but sounds fishy to me.
