Stop all goods to and from California by trucks. Make California voters change their own dam leaders. Starve or changes.
I drove hot shot part time not for profit. I was a Rucker trucker. That said, I have been to all parts of the US and Canada. But never to California. Why? Unreasonable inspections, expensive diesel, trucking natzis around every bend.
Forget It! Not worth it! The full time drivers should stop going to CA. Let the state suffer!

On day 3, when electric trucks cannot do the job, they will ask for the diesel trucks back, and the electric trucks will go to landfill.

Many times I think back to the Superman movie that starred Christopher Reeves as Superman and Gene Hackman as Lex Luther. Lex Luther’s plan was to buy up land in the Nevada desert for really cheap and then set off high powered explosives along a major fault line which would sink California into the ocean turning his cheap Nevada land into oceanfront property. His plan makes more sense now than it did back in the ‘70s.

These people have no clue on how much expense is involved with running these trucks and absorbing all their taxes, fees, surcharges, permits etc. Believe it or not people do this to make money. California is something of a Communist state. There is a multi faceted problem out a California and somebody, someway, needs to stop these constant attacks on trucking companies & truck drivers. It's been going on since the massive numbers of Foreigners have been allowed to drive trucks in our Nation starting big time in the 1990's.
In 2000 the FMCSA was put into place to harrass truck drivers in the name of safety, when government in fact, allowed Foreigners to drive trucks. Notable the state of California. Now California's truck drivers are 3rd world people driving trucks in our nation!

Do electric TK or refrigeration even exits? Can you imagine how many batteries it would take to refrigerate a reefer unit. I don’t believe it’s possible to have an electric truck and refrigeration trailer and keep the gvw under 80000 pounds. You’d reach the weight limit before you put the cargo in.

There is no "climate crisis". 100 years of data does not reflect 600,000 years of human life!
Even if battery technology improved to the point where you could store and use 100% if the energy put into the battery which is impossible to have zero loss in storage California's power plants and grid could not keep up with a fraction of the trucks that would need to charge in their state if this goes through. This will cripple their economy if it is not repealed which I would bet it will be before getting implemented.
