1. The Obama-era regulation that required freight railroads to install Positive Train Control systems on their tracks by December 2018 was rolled back.
2. Regulations that would have created rules for sound insulation for railroad employees working near loudly-running engines to protect their hearing were rolled back.
3. Regulations that outlined emergency preparedness requirements for class 1, 2 and 3 railroads, including emergency response plans and training, plans for identifying and mitigating chemical release events and emergency notification requirements, were rolled back.
4. Regulations that set hours of service rules for certain locomotive engineers were rolled back.
