Big Tech Monopolies paid a higher price for the labor-power they are laying off that most likely the workers laid off will find the demand for their skills in a secondary market where the price of labor-power is lower. A recession will have the greatest impact in markets the Big Tech Companies do not operate having little effect on them but a great effect where the new hires in the secondary markets end up and where the recession will impact hardest. Not a good situation for the workers in this field. Many will take a mortal leap into the abyss of unemployment. These days, watching political news about Congress in particular, we need a new term, and that is "Demockrazy."
I feel I am not not represented because of this loud minority of celebrity politicians. I feel that my parents' and grandparents' generations got a really great deal from those who served them in Congress, and then the The Joker's clown car pulled up to the Capital, unloaded, and they were sworn in.
There are great people, the majority in fact, serving in Congress who are amazing individuals, regardless of party, but we are so focused on these few characters that we can't respect Congress as a whole anymore.
