Honestly, I think without the pole cam, they would have gotten away with murdering Tyre Nichols. At two points in the videos, the body cam was covered very clearly on purpose, and they did the ceremonial post beating a man to death circle of alibis, including two of them claiming Mr. Nichols reached for their guns even though that wasn't even possibly true.
