Joshua if they do "screw up" and there is a nuclear meltdown disaster in Ukraine, it WILL affect people all around the world. Nuclear radiation doesn't recognize borders and will be blown all around the globe, causing a variety of possible problems for many many people. We need to remember that we ALL live on this ONE Earth and must each act responsibly. Higher mortgage rates and lending rates have helped to slow the housing market. Also, people are starting to realize that it is going to be a slow crawl back from the pandemic while we figure out what exactly our "new normal" might be. People can't afford house payments with high interest rates, they're choosing not to buy now because it's easier to find a house to rent cheaper than the cost to buy. Lucky "gen Z'ers" will inherit a home or property from their parents, for now they seem to be doing communal renting of larger houses to afford a "decent place".
