I own some firearms , almost all are from the WWI & WWII era . This young man stated he has dealt with deaths from gun violence in Washington , DC , which has very strict gun laws , yet those deaths happened . He also stated we have the choice to buy a firearm or nor and which one to buy . He also stated , the crux of the issue , that it is the heart & soul of the buyers and some are filled with hate & violence . So how to determine those buying have good intentions and those with evil intentions . My thinking is , if you ban the AR ( assault weapons ) then those with hate & evil intent will just purchase or use something else .
