COVID is only a problem in countries where bullies interfere with wearing masks. Again, in a mystical country where all citizens wore masks wherever they needed to and for a few months longer than they were asked to wear them, there would be no COVID problem even if a few were COVID positive. But in a "Free" republic, that appears to be impossible. Such a shame. New variants are created and spread when an infected person infects another person who infects another person who infects another person, on and on… And during this process, each person has the opportunity to infect many people around them. Any new variant even some spreading as I type can be totally unaffected by all of the vaccines being used today. If a "Vaccine Free" Coronavirus as contagious as Omicron and as deadly as Delta spreads widely, the number of global deaths will be in the hundreds of millions and the number of people suffering long diseased lives will approach a billion. Masks can save us from this if everyone learning of such a variant would wear a mask whenever they can and wherever they can. It is really that simple.
