Akron officers have released bodycam footage from the shooting of Jayland Walker. According to the authorities, an estimated 90 rounds were fired by at least eight officers killing and leaving the 25-year-old with 60 wounds to the body. Police said that the officers on the scene thought Walker was turning toward them, reaching for a gun. A gun was later found in Walker’s car. Walker’s family revealed that just a month ago, Jayland had lost his fiancé, and though he was sad, he did not exhibit any behavior that would scare the family. The debate on overkill is a moot point. Police officers have families to go home to, and when you threaten their lives by shooting at them and fleeing you have become the aggressor. It’s like the rules of engagement in war. The ultimate goal is stop the threat of violence as fast as possible. People can continue to fight/flee after being shot with 9mm.
I am sad this young guy lost his life, and my condolences to his family. But it’s time we had honest conversations about these circumstances instead of showing nice pictures of deceased men who made really bad choices. No arrest warrant/search is worth your life, take accountability and learn from it.

According to the cops chase, which i see as an escolated situation that could have been avoided buy the victom, agaion race, colar mean nothing to me , its the person commiting the crime that matters to me, So! we have a cop chase, then we have gun fire comeing out of the chased car , Right ???
