LAWD NAW!
It's getting to the point that these trains need to slow down in residential areas and start checking the rails more often. I use to see the vehicles that check rails often but now rarely see them. The town I worked in had a train that goes through my town to this town and derailed twice in the same place. The only thing that saved people was the deep ditch that stopped the cars from coming into the road. The problem was the rails were bad and they replaced them after the second derailment. This train had almost a hundred cars and goes way to fast in residential areas. When it comes through my town it goes through down town area with a lot of businesses. These people who run these trains need to be brought up on charges when something like this disaster happens especially if it was the fought of going to fast or damaged rails. I see a lot of law suits in the future if people have long term medical problems from a train probably going to fast in a residential area with dangerous chemicals. These people who build these cars need to make them where the chemicals can't escape the cars and fire will not destroy the car. These cars are made out of crap and should never be carrying dangerous chemicals. They need to build the cars just for chemicals and go at speed on the tracks that's safe and slow down in towns and cities.
Rule #1 in journalism.
State where the accident took place in East Palestine, Ohio….never mentioned in the report.
Isn't this the plot to White Noise?
They never mentioned the name of the town. Ohio is a big place. Who what where when and why.

"Safely away" yeah that looks great for the environment…
Hopefully, no harm will be caused now and in the long term. 🙏🏽
5 Special Hazards of Combustion
Products: Forms highly toxic combustion products such as hydrogen chloride, phosgenic, and carbon monoxide.
Hydrogen Chloride a colourless gas, which forms white fumes of hydrochloric acid upon contact with atmospheric water vapor.
Reminds me of the derailment in weyauwega wi years ago! The heat of the fire melted siding blocks away!
Thanks bud for keepin us financially Educated! Regardless of how bad it gets on the economy, I still make over $22,000 every single week.
that is the dumbest fkn way to handle an accident of chemical proportions. Absolutely despicable, and to think those guys are the going intelligence. God help you all, indeed.
"burned safely away"…bad grammar and obvious misinformation. There's nothing safe about burning these chemicals. It's the cheapest way to "clean" the spill.
Maybe it’s time to upgrade infrastructure? We shouldn’t be having train accidents every year
I would put my house on the market if I lived there
