The medal ceremony for team figure skating at the Beijing Olympics has been delayed due to an ongoing legal issue that could affect medalists, the International Olympic Committee said. IOC spokesman Mark Adams said the reason was a “legal consultation” required with the governing body of skating but declined to share specific details of the case.

Russian cheaters in using drugs. Not surprised because of the current ice dancers tested positive for drugs before the 2018 Games. The IOC and ISU should disqualify the ROC Team/ strip them of the medal all together. USA Gold, Japan Silver and Canada bronze in the end result. It would be like ROC was not even there. As to the individual events , it may be the best interest to disqualify all ROC figure skating from the rest of the Games. Then I would disqualify the ROC figure skating for one Olympic cycle and if more sports test positive then all ROC period. Sorry I know that sounds harsh but it will be the only way the ROC will learn at all. Do the right thing IOC and ISU!
