One teenager has died and another was rushed to a hospital after the families say they ingested large doses of Benadryl for what is known as the Benadryl challenge. NBC’s Maya Eaglin has more on what parents need to know about this years-old social media trend.

At 1:47, are the two grandpa on Benadryl? And I can kinda see a lil bit what they are saying about how the boy has been taking them since he was a small child for normal reasons and probably didn’t think it would ever hurt him but it’s still crazy because this is exactly how people that want to die die. They take a bunch of pills of what ever. It don’t matter what the intent is when taking dozens of pills. The outcome will be death if you take enough. That’s IT!

I wonder why they won't give us details as to how many benadryl he took, or what bodily functioms shut down leading to his death. The more info the public is given, the less likely it is to happen again. With that being said, i dont believe this is a popular tik tok challenge, i think there's more to this story than we are being told, and once again, i am disappointed by the lack of information these news stations give us whenever tragedy strikes.

I take it once in a while for itching but only 1 pill in 24 hours at night. It makes me very tired.
So, every kid want to be like romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge except that they don't write poetry but doing a self destructing challenge.
It is ironic how stupid this is and the mentality of the west.
Now a teen was to young to know it can die from pills but a 4 year old is wise enough to know what to do about a gender that never reached puberty even.
