Genetic modification of plant is NOT a disqualification to be classified organic. Compromises have been made regarding fertiliser and some types of spray but GM is not an issue

We already know that this is true because of giants like monsanto actually having the audacity to Sue farmers where they're genetically modified crops and seeds were growing due to having been wind blown.
As a person who has sold for 40 years my homegrown produce at local small farmers markets I can tell you people claiming to be selling you organic eggs or produce out the back of a semi with giant organic signs in markets with 1000s of people there are not .
