Debt ceiling fiasco is FAKE. No, it isnt Biden's fault. Why do you so-called media types keep trying to insist it is? How is America defaulting on our debt good for America? Quit encouraging the GQP.
McConnell needs to stay in his own lane. McConnell has yet to deal with the Tuberville situation.
As for the age thing, trump ain't no spring chicken either. Who will be his running mate? If he chooses some MAGA person like MTG, Lake, Boebert, or Gatez, Harris will be the clear winner.
When Trump was president, Republicans increased the debt by trillions of $$, but NOW they're concerned about the debt?? This is how the GOP operates, they spend like drunken sailors when they have the WH, raise the debt to record levels, add to the debt every year they have the presidency, then, when they lose the WH to Dems all of a sudden they're fiscal conservatives, and the debt matters again. Bill Clinton left office with a balanced budget, but in his first year as Pres, W Bush created the largest debt in history. Barack Obama lowered W's astronomical debt in his 8 years, while the GOP had 24/7 hissy fits on Fox about the debt THEY had created.
In Trump's first year in office, the GOP gave a HUGE tax give away to the wealthiest Americans–the middle class only got a 1% tax cut–and after 8 years of toddler temper tantrums about the debt W created that Obama was reducing, as soon as they got control of the WH they once again created the largest deficit in American history. They just keep topping themselves. Biden has reduced Trump's record breaking debt. So, to be clear, given that Clinton balanced the budget, W created astronomical debt, then Obama reduced W's debt, and Trump again created record breaking debt, Repugs are responsible for ALL of the debt they're having hissy fits about.

Only ONE of the 3 Trump debt ceiling bills were tied to cuts in spending. That bill called for cuts and the cuts would not start till 2027. So Trump and the GOP passed 2 clean debt ceiling measures. I think Mr. Buck was a little confused when he said all 3 were tied to cuts when they really were not. Only 1 was tied to spending cuts. Look it up!

To present this as a both sides issue is nonsense. There’s a clear right and wrong here. It’s wrong not to raise the debt limit and pay what’s due. The budget should be an entirely separate debate. For Baker and Buck to argue who looks better politically is off the rails..
