McCarthy came to change the rules, but the rules are about to change him
Looking at McCarthy to lose his speakership before the big Government shut down. Trump wants a shutdown – McCarthy does not. Its that simple. Matt Gaetz will probably start the process. Remember almost everybody on that stage during the first Republican debate raised their hand & would support Trump – something out of The Twilight Zone. So believe this big Government shut down will last a long time. Hope Uncle Joe has some kind of Executive Order to stop what is going to happen.
When it comes time to vote… remember which party shut down the government they were elected to run. Remember which party took away a woman's right to choose her own reproduction. Remember which party is on the verge of nominating a man who tried to overthrow the government he had been temporarily elected to serve.
What if it wasn't party oriented for speaker.
How about installing the best representation of the house.
I nominate fettermen for speaker of the house.
A decent person with responsibility to the American people and a respect for the duties of his or her office would do what needs to be done, regardless of whether they may lose their position. But if Kevin McCarthy has show the American people anything, it is that he is not decent person, that his only responsibility is to himself, and he has respect for nothing, not even his own reputation. The shutdown will be a flaming wreck and McCarthy will be responsible. And in the end a deal will be made, between Democrats and moderate Republicans and McCarthy will get no credit, because he deserves nothing for all the nothing he has done. He'll lose his Speakership and he will deserve it and the Democrats can sit back and watch the House GOP eat itself alive trying to replace him.

The demand that the Speaker not work with Democrats is not sane or rational given they are in control of the Senate and the Presidency so it’s completely fantasy. If a aka non gov employee/ public servant / wealthy person/ social media influencer, that’s fine because they can afford it plus have a percentage of people siding. If it’s a regular person that’s automatically Treason. So why is it major billionaires can do the same with foreign leaders or even a small group? Seems unethical if you’d ask me.
