The people that died were weak. I had 4 redbull and 2 monster and coke not cola while working. and Panera should have known better from the first death.
We at Panera investigated ourselves, and concluded we did nothing wrong!
Cash grab!!!
I’m not buying the charged lemonade. 😱
2:08 I guess #Panera will find out if their claims of open disclosure and adequate warnings will stand the test of 12 jurors. 🤨
I don't need Panera.
So much for Panera's "Big Gulp" plan.
You should not be drinking that much caffeine to begin with
To answer the lawyer of the baseless lawsuit, it seems that Panera made the change in an attempt to avoid another baseless lawsuit. But I'll bet that you knew that when you asked the question.
He drank three of the caffeinated lemonade!!!!! Stop it… Panera didn’t put a gun to his head to drink these beverages! I’m sorry for their loss, but he had prior health issues and decided to drink them. People are too sue happy.
Edit: I read the article regarding this case, which is how I came to know he drank 3 of the charged lemonades.
I actually try to know what I'm eating or drinking before I put it in my mouth. I guess it's far simpler to drink THREE portions of something bad for me, then have my family sue for millions later.
friendly reminder: 400 mg is the hard limit for daily caffeine consumption according to USDA
The price is to die for too.
Too bad for your allergic selves, don't go around eating liquid crack.
The downsyndrome along with dying from panera. Jesus christ this lady has had enough!!!!
In a sense, this is MORE DANGEROUS than alcohol because most people genuinely don’t know they can die from caffeine, whereas they DO know alcohol is dangerous and will moderate themselves unless they have a serious drinking problem. Basically meaning, they don’t know to be careful with caffeine, so offering dangerous doses of something to the general public who don’t even understand that it’s dangerous, is negligence.
Next we'll have people with diabetes, obesity, reactive hypoglycemia, etc. suing over reactions or even death due to the sugar content of beverages. Panera has labels on their dispensers noting the caffeine and calorie content of their beverages, which is more than most places do. At most restaurants, such specifics are available only if you request them or look them up on line. And next lawyers will argue that people "didn't know" what caffeine or sugar could do to the body. So maybe such locations shouldn't be the hand out for kids after school without a supervising adult. Where does it end?
Just don’t drink it duh

Panera bread, our drinks are killer!
Should companies have to tell me that coke has caffeine when I order it, or should you just know what you are ordering
Can maccas start superchargring their coke with coke
That's like Try in to sue. Budweiser for getting drunk .And Then get to an accident.
You should always check what you buy thoroughly before you eat or drink it if you have an underlying health condition.
People fault
Just get rid of the death drink. I wouldn't drink that stuff and I drink coffee excessively day and night
just thinking about that much caffeine makes me anxious
They shouldn't have to remove a product because people don't know how to limit themselves. Should McDonalds no longer serve coffee for giving that one old lady 3rd degree burns? NO! I love the Mango Yuzu Drink, and I'll be damned if they take it away. It's their own fault they died. If there is a warning, and people still pursue it. Maybe it's natural selection. Get off your high horse.
