“It’s infuriating,” says a parent after staff members at Bunnell Elementary in Florida pulled Black fourth and fifth-grade students out of their classes to attend a PowerPoint presentation to address low standardized test scores. WESH’s Claire Metz reports.

Students with the MCPH1 gene should be separated from students without that gene. Please read about MCPH1 on wikipedia.
Its scientifically proven certain races are born smarter than others. 🤷
Until stuff like this ends. Racially charged shootings will continue. That states officials have a lot of blood on their hands. Awful state of the world we are living in.
With all that space on that Powerpoint, they had to abbreviate AA? and shouldn't it be "AAs" for correct grammar?
I’m so sorry to those students. That’s unacceptable!!!! The staff that done that should not have paid leave, they should be fired!!!!!!
wow
This happened to me. I was told I had a learning disability, never amount to anything. Constantly being told that I was a troublemaker due to anger, I acted as such. I went on to play college Softball played in two National State Championships. I received two degrees and a Masters. We will always have those people in our lives, our jobs, friends, and teachers whose job is to help bring out the best in us. I am blessed for those people they taught me who I do not want to become. To be kind best example we can be someones blessing or lesson. The best revenge is no revenge its just simply being happy, forgiveness and doing well. No one can accomplish that, the only people that can hold us back is ourselves.
I guess next they would have had a slave auction 🤬🤬
America is racist, breaking news. They never even banned slavery and they somehow think they’re not a racist country.
So when black kids underperform and someone simply States it as a fact, that's illegal?
Did anyone stop to think that maybe the school was actually try to help these kids?? If there's a particular group of kids that are having trouble keeping their grades up why wouldn't they address them? And instead of singling each kid out and making them feel worse, they do it as an assembly. Everybody immediately goes to the race card. If the school really was racist, then they would hope these kids would fail! Typical CNN race-baiting bullsh*t.
Just maybe you kids didn't do their homework
POOR teacher performance. If the students attended classes for the entire school year and failed to do well on the standardized tests, this shows that the TEACHER was/is ineffective. Poor job.
I don’t see the problem. Granted, I don’t have all the facts because the reporting agency is notoriously dishonest and unreliable but if the students need teaching then let’s just let the teachers do that😊
They're afraid of the truth, should be more concerned over the low scores than the demographics
Wrong way to approach low test scores. The teachers should address the low test scores and or low academic performance with the parents. I'm sure there are some white kids with low test scores, why were they not part of the assembly? Call the parents in and address the low test scores of their kids individually. This was a racist move. Most of the teachers probably shouldn't even be teaching. Low anything is also a reflection of those thats teaching. If I was a teacher and you can't bring your scores up, I'm sitting first with the student, and then with the students and parents. Some of these people have no business trying to teach anybody. First you must care about the students and demand quality work by being a quality teacher. The parent role is to make sure the kids are excelling and not leaving it up to the school. The parents should not be mystified if their sons or daughters are not doing well; the parent has a responsibility to insure that they help their kids academically. Parents, I was a parent, my son did not play football or basketball unless he maintained his grades. I was there from the start. I made little money never more than $55,000 a year. My son finished Wake Forest University, BS in Business, Notre Dame Masters in Business Administration, Carnegie Mellon, Masters in Information Technology, Working on a Masters from Tufts University in Computer Science, he works for a top business, and he is a veteran of the Navy all at 35. I was there for him from preschool. I can't believe that these parents are shocked, you know if your kids are doing poorly in school if you don't know now you know.
So now all white ppl think this is true… Shocking!?!
Nauseating!!…
It's pretty widely known that they do poorly on standardized tests, maybe the mamma bears should spend more time with their kids. If you have a group that is doing predominately bad, it makes sense that they are the ones singled out for help. Ignoring reality isn't going to make it go away.
lol who thought this was a good idea? If the school had blindly presented to all students who performed poorly, and they all just happened to be black, that would be fine; but to present only to the blacks, all the blacks, even who had scored well, when students of other races also performed poorly, that's not fair.
Of course it's racial discrimination yet again by Florida's board of Education spurred on by DeSantis and his hyper nationalism!!
