"Parents Grapple With Risks Of In-Person Learning For Their Children" thereby motivating us, the people of America, to redouble our efforts to rapidly find out at any given moment, including even while On-line, who among us are unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic) in order to convince them to call their doctor and self-quarantine per their doctor in hopes of stopping this pandemic so that our children can safely return to school for in-person learning here in the U.S.
Does NO ONE remember that children learned AT HOME for eons before public school systems came into existence. Children DO NOT suffer from missing out on regular schools. However, many parents use school as a childcare or daycare system so they can work – that is the difference.
In the absence of true leadership at the national level, we’ve all been tossed into a laissez-faire economics model to combat a global pandemic…and in the name of “freedom.” What a joke! Our president and institutions have failed us. 🤬

I am eightyone years old, a while back I took, care of my daughter,. She was a heavy smoker, I installed a number of air cleaners, one even advertised as an air purifier, to protect me from second hand smoke. I am just wondering if they ( air cleaners) would be a help in the classrooms? If you think so, you must be aware, they, require regular cleaning, and some other need filters replaced. No kids here. By choice. But of course, as an education professional: keep them home. There's no way to keep them safe given the circumstances.
(At any times, schools are the biggest place for outbreaks of all kinds.- with hospitals.)
