The parents of Bryan Kohberger wrote that they “care deeply for the four families,” adding that they supported Bryan and have cooperated with law enforcement agencies “to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence.” According to the University where Kohberger was pursuing a PhD, police have executed search warrants at the suspect’s office and on-campus apartment.

I can't imagine what it's like to hear your kid did something like this. The disbelief, confusion, pain, and fear. The sudden layer of distress that not only may your kid have done something so horrible but also if your family and other child are now in danger, if jobs will be lost simply for being related to your child and all the other horrors that come with it. Especially if as it sounds the family is still in a state of shock and denial. Noone wants to believe their child grew up to be the monster in the darkness.

As parents I can understand why they stand with their son. He is not proven guilty yet, and to accept that your child have done something that sick and horrible must be so hard that I bet that the brain just shut down. Must be so traumatic……when that is said, apparently they have DNA from him at the crime scene and other evidence to link him to the murders. He also looks like a psychopath if you ask me, those eyes are stone cold, looks like the eyes of a taxidermy animal, no life! I feel sorry for the parents!

I feel bad for them too. If he did it, they’re about to lose the son they knew. He’ll still be alive, so they’re miles better off than the families who fully and irreversibly lost their children forever, and can’t even see them or talk to them anymore, but this is still painful. They’ll have to face it that their child is a monster who took four lives. They’ll have to live with the stigma that they’re the family of a cold-blooded murderer. They’ll have to hear accusations about them, and have their parenting choices questioned. They’re going to forever suffer for something they didn’t do, didn’t want to see happen, and wanted no part of. They’re victims of this too, just in a different way.
There are no winners in cases like this, only losers. Everyone lost.

Clearly the news and social influence has labelled him guilty already. USA justice is broken if the government doesn’t stop the defamation of this man before he is found guilty in a court of law. USA is a joke when media can influence potential jurors before a trial. Really corrupt system.
Is it remotely possible he’s innocent until proven guilty?
The parents of the murderer just lost their son too. They will mourn and miss the future that he no longer has. Also,they will miss him in THEIR future,their retirement-days, he will not be there to take care of them or come to visit them. This is a huge loss for them too,although it's his own fault but it is not THEIR fault,they didn't sign up for becoming parents of a murderer.
